Time is flying as the clock ticks down!

We can't believe that our first trimester has passed! We're officially a little more than 1/3 done with our pregnancy, and little baby Davis-Hejl is doing just fine. We're looking forward to our latest scan update which we'll receive next week! We're hoping for a clearer picture of the scan this time, for us to post and share. Can't wait to see how our little bundle is growing!

In the mean time, we've been bouncing around names which has been a little bit of a challenge, but a lot of fun as well. I've always enjoyed names, and the meanings behind them, so making sure we choose the perfect combo is getting a little difficult! But it's a ton of fun as well.

Keeping our big news in for over 12 weeks was super hard for us (well, for me at least because I'm a chatter box). We finally decided on a way to make the announcement on Facebook, and the outpouring of love and support from all our friends and family was more than touching. We consider ourselves so blessed to have such wonderful supportive people in our lives. We are truly grateful! Here's our little announcement that we posted:

Pretty soon I'll be posting the nursery design. The chandelier has come in, and so has the changing table/dresser! Watching the nursery take shape is so incredible and surreal at the same time.
